In Prop Hunt, up to 12 players are split up into two teams, and teams alternate between being the Props or the Hunters every round. In a single sentence, Prop Hunt is like your average game of hide-and-seek, except those who are hiding become inanimate objects hidden throughout the map, and the seekers have submachine guns. If you turn on default props, random sizes won't work as the orb effect's size is always constant.Prop Hunt is back in The Resistance Community Event in Call of Duty: WWII as a featured playlist until the event wraps up on February 27. To tweak the game to your own liking, you can access the Workshop Settings tab from the Menu. This radar will alert the hunter when they are in range of a living prop.
To reach to high ground or fly, hunters can shoot at their feet to propel themselves upwards.Įvery hunter equips with a radar. Shooting at a prop/killing a prop will heal the hunter up. They can heal up by emoting and trigger a short cooldown. Hunters damage themselves when they shoot. Each hunter has three special abilities: emote to heal up, propeller and radar. Hunters are players who have to hunt down props. The last prop alive will gain ultimate and the ability to attack. Props also automatically play their voice lines every few seconds as a way to give hunters hint on your location. This ability comes with a lengthy cooldown. Their special ability is to randomize their own color and size of themselves (note that the smaller you become, the lower your health gets). Props are players with the appearance of colorful orbs/spheres varying in size.
The first team to reach a score of 2 wins the game. The hunters must kill all props before the timer ends. The props have to hide from the hunters and disguise themselves among the other props until time runs out. Prop Hunt is an elimination game consisting of two teams: Props (9 players) and Hunters (3 players). 1.12.0 will be the last major update for this version of Prop Hunt! Instead, I will do updates for my newer version called Prop Hunt Redux.
